Why Consider Nebulization for COPD

Why consider nebulization?

BROVANA® (arformoterol tartrate) Inhalation Solution is for inhalation use only through a nebulizer system.

A nebulizer system consists of a small reservoir (the nebulizer) and an air compressor. Pressurized air converts the liquid medicine into a fine breathable mist. These machines are also known as jet nebulizers or compressed-air nebulizers.

  • Once the nebulizer is set up, you take the medicine by breathing normally through a mouthpiece or mask
  • Nebulizing with BROVANA takes about 5 to 10 minutes for administration, twice a day
  • You can incorporate your treatment into your daily routine, like while watching the morning and evening news

BROVANA should not be swallowed or injected. After each use, the nebulizer should be cleaned according to the manufacturer's instructions. Learn more about nebulization in How to Use BROVANA.
